《訃報》 日米委員長「佐藤治良」さんがご逝去されました

当協会の日米委員長として、永年ご尽力頂きました。

ウィルソンビル市へも何回も団長として引率をして頂きました。

まだまだ、元気で色んな話を聞いて、こちらの話も沢山聞いていただきたかったのですが、、、残念で仕方ありません。

We are deeply saddened to announce that Mr. Jiro Sato, Japan–U.S. Committee Chair of the Aizu Kitakata International Association, passed away in the early morning of Saturday, February 7.

Jiro devoted many years of heartfelt service to our association. He led numerous delegations to Wilsonville and played a central role in nurturing the friendship and mutual understanding between our two cities.

To our dear friends in Wilsonville:

Jiro always spoke warmly of the kindness and hospitality he received from you. He truly cherished the bonds built through exchanges with your community and believed deeply in the importance of the relationship between Kitakata and Wilsonville. We are certain that his spirit of friendship will continue to live on in the connections he helped create.

We had hoped to continue sharing many more stories and conversations with him, and it is truly heartbreaking that this is no longer possible.

We offer our heartfelt prayers for Jiro’s peaceful rest.
