【ウィルソンビル高校生使節団】2026.7.2 2日目 喜多方滞在＆視察開始！
ウィルソンビル高校生使節団2日目
早速、喜多方での各地訪問が始まりました！
まずは市長表敬訪問です。
今回の引率である、サクライシノブ先生とウィルソンビル市の姉妹都市交流諮問委員会のメンバーでもある、ポーターさんがあいさつをしてくださいました。
その後、
市役所見学、
会津型体験、
昼食に喜多方ラーメンめん処 縁(えん)
→目を輝かせて食べていました！美味しかったみたいです
(なんと、雨のため特別に大浴場で足湯体験をさせて頂きました！本当にありがとうございます

)日中線記念館見学、
蒔絵体験@kinomoto_wasabi_nekoneko、
(猫ちゃんクリアファイルをプレゼントして下さいました本当にありがとうございます)
本当にありがとうございます)その後わさびさんで、ちょっとカフェタイム
→クレープが大好きらしく、皆注文してました
あいにくの雨でしたが、暑すぎるより良かった？かなと思います
初日はアートな1日になりました。
皆、芸術センス抜群で見ていて楽しかったです
Wilsonville High School Student Delegation – Day 2 
The students’ visits around Kitakata officially began today!
Our first stop was a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Kitakata.
Ms. Shinobu Sakurai, the delegation chaperon, and Mr. Porter, a member of the Wilsonville Sister City Advisory Board, gave wonderful greeting speeches.
After that, the students enjoyed a full day of activities:
A tour of Kitakata City Hall
A traditional Aizu-gata stencil dyeing experience
Lunch at Mendokoro En, where they tried Kitakata ramen. Their eyes lit up as they ate—it looks like they loved it! 
A foot bath experience at Atsushio Onsen Yamagataya. Because of the rain, the students were kindly allowed to enjoy a special foot bath inside the large public bath. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality! 
A visit to the Nichūsen Memorial Museum
A maki-e (Japanese lacquer decoration) workshop at Kinomoto. They also received adorable cat clear folders as gifts. Thank you so much! 
After the workshop, everyone enjoyed a relaxing café break at Wasabi. It seems they all love crêpes, so almost everyone ordered one!Although it rained throughout the day, perhaps it was better than having extremely hot weather.
It was a day filled with art and creativity. The students showed amazing artistic talent, and it was so much fun to see each of their unique creations!
