【ウィルソンビル】2026ウィルソンビル高校生使節団受入れホストファミリーオリエンテーション

今年は、ウィルソンビルから喜多方に来る年！そう、受け入れの年です！

今年は7/1〜7/11に来喜します。ウィルソンビル高校生が10人と引率の先生が1人。　合計11名での使節団です。

昨年ウィルソンビル市へ研修生として行った生徒さん達のお宅にホームステイします。

初めてホストファミリーをやるご家庭がほとんどです。

ドキドキですね〜

喜多方の研修生達がアメリカで沢山素敵な経験をさせて頂きました

同じようにアメリカの高校生達にも喜多方のよいところを沢山満喫していっていただきたいです。

滞在中の日程や、朝夕の送り迎え、生活をする上での注意事項などお話をさせて頂きました。

また、前回受入をして下さった先輩ママさん達に色んな体験談を聞かせて頂きました。すごくタメになる！

文化の違いもありますので、色んな戸惑いもありますが、1人子どもが増えた感覚で受け入れて頂きます本当にありがとうございます

2026 Wilsonville High School Delegation

Host Family Orientation

This is the year that students from Wilsonville will be visiting Kitakata—our host year!

The delegation will be in Kitakata from July 1 to July 11. This year’s group consists of 10 Wilsonville High School students and 1 chaperone teacher, for a total of 11 visitors.

The students will stay with the families of the Kitakata students who had been to Wilsonville last year.

For most of the host families, this will be their first time hosting international students. It’s an exciting and nervous experience!

Last year, the Kitakata students had many wonderful experiences in the United States. We hope that the American students will also have the opportunity to fully enjoy everything that makes Kitakata special.

During the orientation, we discussed the schedule for their stay, transportation arrangements, and important points about daily life and hosting.

We also heard valuable stories and advice from experienced host mothers who hosted students during previous exchange programs. Their experiences were incredibly helpful!

Of course, there may be some surprises and misunderstandings because of cultural differences, but we hope our host families will welcome these students as if they were one more member of the family. Thank you so much for your support and generosity.
