July 6, 2026 Wilsonville High School Student Delegation: Day 6 Visiting Kitakata Third Junior High School
The students enjoyed a variety of activities, including Japanese calligraphy (shuji), origami, listening to the school song, a choral performance of “Hana wa Saku” (Flowers Will Bloom)—a song created after the great earthquake—and an energetic performance by the school’s cheering squad (oendan). They also joined the local students in their classrooms to eat school lunch together!
