【ウィルソンビル】2026.2.6 第29回ウィルソンビル短期研修　報告会

第29回ウィルソンビル短期研修報告会をカランドリエにて開催いたしました。

アメリカ滞在は初めてだった研修生たち、それぞれに感じたこと、嬉しかったこと、これからどうしていきたいか、などを報告してくれました。

また、報告会には、

市長代理として教育長、

研修生の在籍する学校の校長先生方、

喜多方市企画調整課様、

オリエンテーションでお世話になった皆様、

理事の皆様、研修生の保護者の皆さま、様々な方にご出席頂きました。

お客様たちの前で堂々と報告をする研修生達の姿は、出発前の姿よりかなり成長して見えました。

みんなそれぞれ、この経験を活かして今後の進路や国際交流に活かしていきたい、と話してくれていました。

みんなの将来が楽しみです

本当は、日米委員長、佐藤治良さんにもお越しいただきたかったです、、、

土手チーフ力作の報告ムービーを見ていただきたかった、、、欠席だから後日お見せしましょうね、と話していました

金谷団長からも、素晴らしいコメント、激励を頂きました。

沢山のみなさんに見守られ、この素晴らしい体験をこれからの未来に繋げていって頂きたいです。

また、姉妹都市交流が末永く続きますように

We held the 29th Kitakata Student Delegation to Wilsonville Report Session at the Restaurant “Calendrier.”

For many of the students, this was their first time staying in the United States. They shared what they felt, the moments that made them happy, and how they hope to move forward from here.

We were honored to welcome many guests to the session, including:

– the Superintendent of Education representing the Mayor,

– principals from the students’ schools,

– staff from the Kitakata City Planning and Coordination Division,

– those who supported the orientation,

– members of our board,

– and the students’ families.

Seeing the students confidently giving their presentations in front of the audience, we could clearly feel how much they had grown since before their departure. Each of them spoke about making the most of this experience for their future paths and for international exchange. Their futures are truly exciting

We sincerely wished that our Japan–U.S. Committee Chair of AKIA, Mr. Jiro Sato, could have been with us as well…

We wanted him to see the wonderful report movie created by Chief Megum Dote. We had said, “Since he can’t attend, let’s show it to him later”…

We also received inspiring and encouraging words from Delegation Leader Kanaya. Surrounded by the support of so many people, we hope the students will carry this precious experience into their bright futures.

May our sister city friendship continue for many years to come
