各種手続き関連の書類を提出したり、荷物の準備を本格的に始めたりと、皆現実味を帯びてきました。

歌の練習にプレゼン練習、しかも、今の時期は期末テスト。部活に、習い事、受験、、、みんな、本当によく頑張っています。

さらに、インフルエンザが流行り始めています！

皆さん、健康には気をつけてほしいです。

4回目となる今回は、ホームステイ中や研修中の様々な状況を想定したロールプレイも行いました。

ホストファミリーにお願いしたい時は？

など、お手伝いに来てくれた

ロダさん、アーサーさんに「仮ホストファミリー」になっていただき、英語でロールプレイです。

実際に英語で言われると「うっ」と固まりがち

皆さん、一生懸命考えながらも応答します

リアルな場面を想定した、とてもためになるやり取りができました。

今回は和室でいつもより狭い場所だったこともあり、みんなの距離がぐっと近づきました

もっと仲良くなって一体感が出ると良いなぁ。

さて、オリエンテーションも次で最後。

This time, it’s an orientation just for students. The place was Washitsu (Japanese-style room).

Role-Playing Simulating Real Situations

With submitting various procedural documents and starting to pack the baggage, everyone is starting to feel the reality for delegation.

Between song practice, presentation practice, and now final exams, club activities, lessons, entrance exams… everyone is truly working so hard.

On top of that, the flu season is starting!

Everyone, please take care of your health.

For this fourth session, we also did role-plays simulating various situations during homestays and delegation.

What do you say, if you feel sick?

What do you say, if you need to ask your host family for something?

We had special help for English session, Ms.Rhoda and Mr.Arthur, act as “temporary host families” for these English role-plays.

When actually spoken to in English, students tend to freeze up.

Everyone thought hard and responded.

We had very useful simulating realistic scenarios.

This time, we were in a Washitsu room (Japanese-style room), a bit smaller than usual, so everyone felt much closer together

It would be great if we could become even closer and develop a stronger sense of unity.

Well, the orientation sessions are almost over—just one more to go.

Let’s buckle down and give it our all!
