喜多方市は、かつて会津の北の方として「北方（きたかた）」と呼ばれていましたが、後に現在の、喜び多い方、「喜多方」となりました。
地域に暮らす人々が、お互いを認め合い多様性を尊重した、喜び多い方（多文化共生のまち）となるよう、
『世界は友だち』を合言葉に、Kitakataから発信してまいります。

Overcoming language barriers, a garden of diversity woven by different cultures. We provide a place for individual people from different backgrounds and values to meet, learn together and grow together.
In this place, we interact with friends from all over the world and share moments of emotional connection.
